We know that every family’s needs are different. That’s why gift cards are the most powerful way to make a difference.

Gift cards let each family choose exactly what they need most. We are hoping to collect your donations of retail gift cards at our location.

Gift cards from these retailers help families the most

Walmart, President’s Choice and Dollarama.

This year, we’re collecting gift cards from just three retailers so we can collect and deliver faster than ever.

Our 2026 goal

Our 2026 goal is $35,000 in new gift card donations. Donations received by December 4 will have the most impact.

Any amount helps: $25, $50 or $100. Every dollar is a chance to make someone’s season brighter.

Drop off gift cards

Drop off at our location, 1881 Fairview Street, next to the Mandarin Restaurant.
Gift card drop-off hours: Monday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Prefer to give online?

We’ll happily purchase gift cards on your behalf with your donation. Send a direct deposit (e-transfer) to general.compassion@gmail.com. Please mark it HOLIDAY GIFT PROGRAM so our team can direct it correctly.

You can also give online through CanadaHelps. Choose the Holiday Gift Cards fund so your gift goes to the program.
